Akku, also known as Akku of the Golden Spires, was a city that Darklord Xog attempted to create, but it was destroyed by monsters of the Tadatizaga.
History[]
During the rule of Archlord Vashna, Darklord Xog's compound was destroyed in Helgedad in a fit of rage. Xog exiled himself in response, and attempted to create his own fortress-city, Akku, west of Zutzinozaga. However, Akku was assaulted multiple times from monsters of the Tadatizaga, and it was eventually destroyed and left as a ruin.[1]

Akku was located west of Zutzinozaga and northwest of Kagorst.

In the first edition of The Darklands, Akku was the capital of Elgazaad, which was the domain of Darklord Xog.[2] This was retconned in the second edition, with Xog being made a Lord of Helgedad, retaining his role as Treasurer of the Darklands in doing so.
