Lone Wolf can obtain this item from Banedon if he encounters him during Flight from the Dark. It is mainly used to determine if Lone Wolf is already familiar with Banedon and the Brotherhood when he encounters them in later adventures. It is also one of the items that can be carried into the Grand Master series, making it the only Special Item that can potentially be carried by Lone Wolf in every book.
