Firestone was a Kai Grand Master, and one of the most senior of the New Order.
Biography[]
Firestone was one of the highest-ranked Kai Masters during the events of The Deathlord of Ixia to The Curse of Naar. He was left in charge of the Kai Monastery during Lone Wolf's excursion to Ixia (during The Deathlord of Ixia), and was the person that dispatched Black Hawk, Star Lynx, Blazer and Steel Hand to apprehend Wolf's Bane. Lone Wolf pursued Wolf's Bane through a Shadow Gate to the planet of Avaros, and with the passage of time being different, one whole year passed on Magnamund. In his absence, Firestone once again took command of the Kai, aided by Lords Rimoah and Ardan of the Elder Magi.[1] He later reached the rank of Kai Grand Master.[2]
In MS 5091, King Ulnar V of Sommerlund and his two daughters died in in the King's Keep of Holmgard. Firestone was killed attempting to protect them. Their murders were never resolved, but it is believed that the Heldajdok-taagim were behind them. Of them, Teakkro claims to have killed Firestone.[3]
