Kai Master or Kai Mistress (sometimes simply referred to as Master or Mistress) is the first Kai Master rank and the tenth Kai rank overall, after Savant.
Training[]
Kai Masters reaching this rank have mastered all ten Kai Disciplines, and have graduated to learning the Magnakai Disciplines, a higher level of knowledge.
Upon learning all ten Kai Disciplines, the level of knowledge and skill acquired by that point manifests the mastery of one Magnakai Discipline, whichever they had the most natural aptitude for.[1] As such, this explains the "limbo" between zero and one Magnakai Discipline being covered by one rank (Kai Master).
On average, for a Kai warrior possessing the innate potential to become a Kai Grand Master, a Kai Master would be age 28. The next rank is Kai Master Senior, typically reached two years later.[2]

In the Kai series, completing five gamebooks — all five books — promotes the reader to Kai Master.
