Kezoor the Necromancer, renegade Shaman of Mogaruith, leader of the forbidden sect of Dazudskul, is a man with a price on his head. Wanted for his evil acts, Queen Evaine of Talestria offers 10,000 Lune for the head of Kezoor. Kezoor is one amongst his order that can revive themselves to fight again after death.
He is a tall thin man with hard grey eyes.
Appearances[]
The Jungle of Horrors[]
Lone Wolf encounters Kezoor if he takes the barge route at the start of the adventure. Kezoor boards the barge at the village Honey Lodge, carrying a black leather-bound book. In the taproom, Kezoor is recognized by Trost, who asks Lone wolf to help kill Kezoor. In the ensuing battle, neither Kezoor nor Trost survive.
In the confrontation, Kezor demonstrates he is capable of sorcery: he causes Trost's face to erupt in boils, summons spiders against Paido, and (if Lone Wolf fails to connect with an arrow shot) attacks Lone Wolf with ice magic.
Legends of Lone Wolf[]
Kezoor's role in the Legends of Lone Wolf series is significantly expanded. Although Lone Wolf defeats him fairly easily, Kezoor had protected his book with a curse, which catches Lone Wolf off-guard. The curse affected Lone Wolf's mental state, making him moody and irritable. Furthermore, it was too powerful to be affected by Lone Wolf's Kai powers or his gestalts. It would have killed Lone Wolf as it progressed if not for the intervention of Alyss, who together with Banedon effected a cure.
Combat Stats[]
- Combat Skill: 26-28
- Endurance: 43-45
- Immune to Mindblast and Psi-Surge.
If Lone Wolf possesses the Magnakai Discipline Nexus, Kezoor's Combat Skill and Endurance are reduced by 2 for the battle. Kezoor only deals half damage to Lone Wolf, as Paido will absorb the other half.
If Kezoor is slain in battle, Paido beheads him because he has heard of necromancers who can revive themselves after death. Indeed, when Paido shears off his head, Kezoor's eyes spring open before fading.
