Klüz is a Doomgah leader that was part of Zashnor's forces that invaded Chai in MS 5102. He was slain by Grand Master in Dwala.
Biography[]
In MS 5102, during the events of The Storms of Chai, Zashnor invaded Chai to pursue Grand Master and capture the Eye of Agarash, so that it could be merged with the Claw of Naar to create an incredibly-powerful weapon. The pursuit took them to Dwala, where Grand Master attempted to leave via a boat, but encountered Klüz and his group of Doomgah, riding a Kraan.[1] Klüz then challenged Grand Master to one-on-one combat.[2] Klüz possessed an kirusami imitation called Zukgudrak, capable of triggering the power of the Eye of Agarash, weakening Grand Master.[3]
If Grand Master possessed Anseng's Kirusami, after defeating Klüz, their weapons were combined into a more powerful weapon.[4]
In the gamebooks[]
Klüz is fought in The Storms of Chai, near the end of the book. Zukgudrak, his weapon, can trigger the Eye of Agarash, inflicting 1 Endurance point per round of combat on the player, if the player does not possess Anseng's Kirusami.[5] However, if the player does, Anseng's Kirusami partially-blocks but also turns Zukgudrak's power against Klüz: Whenever 3 or more Endurance points are inflicted on Klüz, an extra point is inflicted.[6]

After the fight, if the player possesses Anseng's Kirusami, it is combined with Zukgudrak to create an even more powerful Kirusami, although with a cost: It now triples all damage against undead (instead of doubling), but the player loses 4 Endurance points (instead of 3) in the first round of combat if wielded.[7]
