Lightning Guanza is a Kai Lord at the rank of Guardian, based on the Isle of Lorn.
He is known for being one of the fastest messengers in the New Order. In MS 5103, during the events of The Dusk of Eternal Night, after Agarash returned to Magnamund, he summoned the Vaag to attack the Isle of Lorn. Grey Star teleported himself and Grand Master there to escape Agarash's clutches. Lightning Guanza and Bold Toa, who were on guard duty, spotted them, and Grand Master ordered Lightning Guanza to run ahead and sound the alarm.[1]
