Novice is the lowest Kai rank and the rank at which new Kai Lords enter the Order.
On average, for a Kai warrior possessing the innate potential to become a Kai Grand Master, a Novice would start their education at age 7. The next rank is Intuite, typically reached two years later.[1]
After the first year of a Novice's training, they are given a Kai name, reflecting their strengths and qualities.[2]
