Pickberry is a village in the Royal Estates of Sommerlund, on the border with the County of Tyso.
Geography[]
Pickberry is a small farming village in the Royal Estates of Sommerlund, on the coast. It lies north of Holmgard, sitting on the South Coastal Highway, and near the border with the County of Tyso. The Southern Coastal Highway leads to Worlan in the County of Tyso, and a second road, bearing slightly to the west of the Southern Coastal Highway, eventually leads to Deerley.
Pickberry Manor, an ancient, lavish manor, owned by the Royal Household, overlooks the Holmgulf.
The Merry Mule, an inn famous for the games of dice, is located in Pickberry. Visitors that win can stay overnight free of charge. In MS 5000, it was owned by Tula Teleris.
A Revenue Post, garrisoned by men of the Army of the North, is located near the border with the County of Tyso.
Politics[]
It is unknown if Pickberry was ruled by a specific noble. As part of the Royal Estates, the land was ultimately under the suzerainty of the Monarch of Sommerlund.[1]
In MS 5000, it was governed by Basanet Hagon Persicar.
