Principalin is the sixth Kai Master rank and the fifteenth Kai rank overall, after Tutelary.

Training

Principalins reaching this rank have mastered six Magnakai Disciplines, as well as all ten Kai Disciplines.

On average, for a Kai warrior possessing the innate potential to become a Kai Grand Master, a Principalin would be age 42. The next rank is Mentora, typically reached six years later.

Improved Magnakai Disciplines

Principalins have improved Magnakai Disciplines over their original, initial mastery of them:

Animal Control

Principalins are able to call on a woodland animal (if nearby) to aid them, either in combat, or to act as a messenger or guide. The number of animals that can be summoned increases as a Kai Master rises in rank.

Invisibility

Principalins are able to mask any sounds made by their movements.

Huntmastery

Principalins are able to intensify their eyesight at will, giving them telescopic vision.

Psi-surge

Principalins are able to confuse an enemy by planting seeds of doubt in its mind. The effectiveness of this ability increases as a Kai Master rises in rank.

Nexus

Principalins can extinguish fires by force of will alone. The size of the fire, and the number that can be extinguished increases as a Kai Master rises in rank.

In the gamebooks

In the gamebooks, the player reaches Principalin after completing three Magnakai gamebooks. The earliest this can be played as, and canonically for Lone Wolf, is during The Cauldron of Fear.
