Savant is the ninth Kai rank after Warmarn and Journeyman, and the penultimate Kai Lord rank before reaching Kai Master.
On average, for a Kai warrior possessing the innate potential to become a Kai Grand Master, a Savant would be age 24. The next rank is Kai Master, typically reached four years later.[1]
In the gamebooks[]
In the Kai series, completing four gamebooks promotes the reader to Savant. The earliest this can be played as, and canonically for Lone Wolf, is Shadow on the Sand. It grants four extra Kai Disciplines, for a total of nine.
