Tharrayn the Mad, is the dark demigod[1] of Madness and Insanity.[2] He resides on the Plane of Darkness and answers only to Naar himself, representing the Evil Power of Madness.[3]
Madmen are humans or humanoids that display irrational behaviour, of which some worship Tharrayn. Some agents of Darkness can also be driven mad by summoning Tharrayn.[1]
Devoted followers of Tharrayn are called the Adepts of Tharrayn, who are able to use their insanity to perpetrate crimes. Several have caused calamities in Magnamund in the past.[3]
