The Pit of Darkness

The Pit of Darkness (French: Les Puits de Ténèbres) is the first gamebook in the Autumn Snow series by Martin Charbonneau.

You are Autumn Snow, initiate in the New Order of the Kai, and you have been chosen to accompany your tutor, Kai Master Silver Flame, to the Kirlundin Isles, where Darklands creatures have been sighted. The mission appears straightforward, but when your mentor disappears, you are left alone to struggle against a danger far greater than anyone feared!^[1]

The player plays as the series-titular Autumn Snow, a New Order Kai initiate.

The book was originally published in 2014 in French fanzine Draco Venturus, but in extremely-limited quantities. It was republished in 2024 by Holmgard Press.
