Tor III (MS 4892–4937) was the forty-fifth Monarch of Sommerlund.
Biography[]
Tor III became King in MS 4898, succeeding Kian II.
In MS 4935, the Great Fire of Holmgard occurred. Tor III became famous for his heroics in saving the city.[1] After the Great Fire was extinguished, he established the Guildhall of the Plaisterers in Holmgard, and ordered all rebuilt buildings to be plastered and lime-washed for protection.[2]
Tor III died in MS 4937, and was succeeded by Fars II. He is buried in a tomb in Escutcheon Square in Holmgard.[1]
A tower, Tower Tor III, in the Southlund Marches, is named after him.[3]
