Yoz'Naga the Petrifier is a Child of Agarash. He was originally sealed away by the Elder Magi during the Age of War, but was brought back by the Naarvakim for a brief period during the New Age of War, where he was slain by the Telchoi Far Runners and Wise Ones.

Yoz'Naga was able to petrify his foes, turning them into stone. He could then reanimate them as part of his vanguard.[1]
Biography[]
Yoz'Naga the Petrifier was a Child of Agarash. Towards the end of the Age of War, Yoz'Naga was defeated and sundered by the Elder Magi in the Battle of the Hills of the Lost Heroes in the Kelderwastes. The Elder Magi continued their advance through the Great Forest of Kelderwood towards Naaros.[2][3]
Millennia later, during the solangor of MS 5104, during the New Age of War, the Naarvakim used the Blood of Agarash to perform a ritual in the Kelderwastes to reforge him. Yoz'Naga was reborn in a blasphemous form, as an octopoid leviathan. Together with the Tentacled Men from the Kelnerin Lakes, Yoz'Naga invaded Klarnos, laying waste to Vaagen. Yoz'Naga then assembled the Kelnerin Horde, and took control of the Dammerdon Horde, to continue this invasion. The Kelnerin Horde won the Battle of Fort Wolf and headed north to reinforce the Siege of Vaagen, which fell. By the hestangor, Yoz'Naga had defeated and petrified the settlement of Kugen, but was repelled in the Siege of Dragen on the coast.[3][1]
In the Siege of Dragen, Yoz'Naga was unexpectedly killed by a party of Telchoi Far Runners and Wise Ones as it attempted to breach the East Gate, and Klarnos repelled the Agarashi beyond the River Bandor. However, thousands of Agarashi remained in the Kugen Plain, and without reinforcements, Dragen was doomed to eventually fall.[4]

Yoz'Naga is first mentioned in The Dusk of Eternal Night, as the player, as Grand Master, discusses the story of Scaldar with Lord Rimoah.[2] Later in the story, although not mentioned, Yoz'Naga's statue presumably sits near the top of the Night Spire, together with the other lieutenants and Children of Agarash.[5]
Yoz'Naga makes its first appearance in The New Age of War, detailing its rebirth by the Naarvakim and its invasion of Klarnos.[3][1][4]
